The Sydney Moss Fund was established in an effort to raise money for the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center and biliary atresia (BA) research.  Not much is known about biliary atresia, a rare and serious liver disease that affects newborns, and the only "cure" lies in a transplant.  The Sydney Moss Fund will again host the annual BA 5k Run & 1k Walk on Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Alexandria, VA.  All proceeds from the event will go to the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center.  Join in our efforts to raise $25,000 to support research leading to exciting BA discoveries.  If we can find a cause, we can find a cure!
